Curiosity Got Me Here

Beca Mayr

I didn't come to AI through a computer science degree or a tech startup. I came to it the same way I've approached everything in my career — I got curious.

For over two decades, I've worked in talent acquisition across industries, companies, and roles. From high-volume recruiting to executive search, I know how to find the right people for the right roles. I've built sourcing strategies, learned to read a market, and spent my career matching people with opportunity.

Somewhere along the way, I started tinkering with AI tools — not because someone told me to, but because I wanted to see what was possible. Casual experimentation turned into real projects, and real projects turned into tools I now use every day. I believe the best way to understand AI is to use it. Not to read about it, not to attend a webinar about it — to sit down, get your hands dirty, and build something.

When I'm not recruiting or building with AI, my world revolves around the people I love. I'm a wife, a mom, and the kind of friend who shows up. Family and community are at the center of everything I do. And when I need to recharge, you'll find me running, in a kickboxing class, lifting weights, or out on a paddleboard. I bring the same energy to all of it — show up, push yourself, learn something new.

My Mission

The world of work is shifting fast. I'm here for the people trying to figure out what it means for their teams, their hiring, and their careers. No hype, no fear-mongering. Just real talk about what's changing, what actually works, and where to start.
